Design and replacement of tunnel generator and ACB replacement in Pen Y Clip and Penmaenmawr Tunnels

  • Design, installation and integration of load shedding panels built to customer specification.
  • Replacement of 400kVA generator set with 600kVA standby generator.
  • Decommissioning of redundant system components with minimum disruption to power supplies.
  • Provision of temporary backup power supply to maintain tunnel critical loads serviceable.
  • Modification of switchboard operating logic and Programmable Logic Controller associated with switchboard to enable new switching regimes.
  • Upgrade of LV switchboard Air Circuit Breakers.
  • Testing and commissioning of new generator system.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update - We are open for business

We take the health & safety of our team, customers, and the wider community very seriously therefore we have introduced a secure remote working platform for our office team and engineers to ensure we can continue to provide our services whilst protecting our valued colleagues and their families. Our team are working normal office hours, but with greater emphasis on contact via e-mail and Microsoft Teams as much of our team are now remote working.
